Detailed 6-Day Tanzania Safari Itinerary

Day 0: Arrival in Tanzania – Transfer to Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, our friendly driver will meet and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha town. You’ll check in on a bed and breakfast basis, allowing you to relax and prepare for the safari ahead.
Overnight: Budget Hotel in Arusha (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you’ll drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunches. Famous for its massive baobab trees and large elephant population, Tarangire offers superb game viewing. You’ll spend the day exploring the park in search of lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and more.
Dinner & Overnight: Panorama Campsite / Mgombani Tented Lodge (Full Board)

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
Following breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. This lush park is known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint before continuing your game viewing.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park with game drives en route. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive across the vast savannah. You’ll witness iconic African wildlife such as wildebeests, cheetahs, elephants, and lions in their natural habitat.
Dinner & Overnight: Seronera Campsite / Osupuko Tented Lodge (Full Board)

Day 4: Full-Day Serengeti Safari
Spend the entire day exploring the central Serengeti. Depending on the time of year, you may witness parts of the Great Migration. Your guide will help you track predators and grazing herbivores across the plains. Enjoy a packed lunch in the wild.
Dinner & Overnight: Seronera Campsite / Osupuko Tented Lodge (Full Board)

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Begin your day with an early morning game drive, returning to the lodge/campsite for a hot brunch. Afterward, enjoy a game drive en route as you head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Dinner & Overnight: Simba Campsite / Rhino Lodge / Ngorongoro Farm House (Full Board)

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha
After breakfast, descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater for a 5–6 hour game drive with picnic lunch. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, and hippos. Later, drive back to Arusha where the tour ends with a drop-off at the airport, bus station, or hotel.
