DAY 1: NAIROBI- AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Depart from Nairobi in the afternoon and end straight to Naivasha. . Arrive at Amboseli for check in and relaxation. Later have lunch and depart for Amboseli National. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. You will explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with Sulphur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. After game drive return for dinner and overnight at the camp

DAY 2: FULL DAY AT AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast depart to the park with packed picnic lunch boxes. Enjoy a full day game drive  where you will enjoy seeing animals against the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain. You will be amazed by the number of elephants that are residents here as well as the number of bird species among them migratory birds. Some of the big five are also residents here so you can look forward to a fun-filled day. Later return to the camp for dinner and overnight

DAY 3:AMBOSELI -NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, check out of the camp with an en route lunch along the way. .Proceed to Nakuru arriving in the afternoon. Proceed to  the park located on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland. You will enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. It is a home to over 400 bird species including the flamingos that live on the lake and in the park’s savannah grasslands. Lake Nakuru park is a habitat to over 100 endangered Rhinos distributed between the black and white rhinos; the park is also home to the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe and other 50 or more animal species that include buffalos, waterbucks, lions, impalas and many more. Later return for check in, dinner and overnight

DAY 4: NAKURU- MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESRVE

Have your breakfast, check out with a packed lunch box. Drop down to the Great Rift Valley past the spectacular Volcano Mount Longonot and head towards the rolling plains of the Masai Mara. Drive across the Loita Plains taking in the scenery. Arrive in the afternoon and begin game drive at the reserve. Masai Mara is world-famous for the annual great wildebeest migration that takes place in July and August where close to a million wildebeest close the Mara River in search of pasture, our guide will take you through the reserve where you will be surprised by the high concentration of wild animals in this reserve. Here herds of elephants roam freely, wildebeest, buffalos, impalas, Thomson’s gazelles, and Zebras graze in their numbers. Big cats are not hard to spot either including the elusive leopard, it is one of the few places you are guaranteed to spot the famous Big Five on a single morning or afternoon. Return for dinner and over night

 DAY 5&6: FULL DAY AT MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

You can choose to have a full Day Game Drive or have it in sections (Morning and afternoon game drive). Whichever options you choose the driver will be on standby. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season early July to end September, zebra, impala, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelles are regularly seen, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhinos are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as are very large Nile crocodiles, who lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures.
During the stay you also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals at an extra cost of (USD 30 PER PERSON). A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Later return for dinner and overnight at the camp

DAY 7: MASAI MARA-NAIROBI
