Borana Lodge
Borana Lodge enjoys an idyllic setting within its own conservancy and offers panoramic views over the Samangua Valley and the Lewa Plains to the Ngare Ndare Forest and to Mount Kenya beyond. In building the lodge, the owners included the ultimate in style and comfort but ensured the design works in harmony with this landscape with the inclusion of local, sustainable building materials.
The Lodge is set in a verdant garden of largely indigenous plants chosen for their scents, colours and flowers. From the infinity pool guests can watch the elephants wandering their well-trodden path to the watering hole or simply relax, read and soak up the sun. The pool veranda is a favourite place for a long, leisurely lunch watching the natural world unfold before you.
Accommodation
Accommodation consists of just six romantic and unique cottages plus two villa rooms that together make up one large villa with private plunge pool that is ideal for families or a group travelling together. Some cottages have large double beds and some have Queen Size twin beds. Four of the cottages have their own veranda.
Two sets of cottages share a veranda, both of which has a phenomenal view over the dam.
